Abstract
|
|
|
Better classification of headache disorders enables better headache research, understanding of headache, communication, and, ultimately, management of a set of disabling neurological disorders. Based on the 2nd edition of the classification, the ICHD-3 beta version (international classification of headache disorder-3rd edition beta version) is now published. ICHD-3 intended for not only the researcher and neurologist but also the general practitioner. All the headaches are classified into 3 parts and many subgroups to provide the level of diagnosis necessary for each user. ICHD-3 beta version will coordinate with the forthcoming International Classification of Diseases edition 11 (ICD-11) of the World Health
Organization (WHO).
